Synopsis
Star Wars: Tempest Runner is a new novel set in the High Republic era, following the adventures of Jedi Knight Loden Greatstorm and his Padawan, Nan. The novel is written by Cavan Scott, who has previously written Star Wars comics and novels such as Dooku: Jedi Lost and The Rise of Kylo Ren.
The story of Tempest Runner begins when Loden and Nan are sent on a mission to the planet Sedri Minor to investigate a disturbance in the Force. Upon arriving on the planet, they discover that a group of Nihil raiders have attacked a Republic outpost. Loden and Nan team up with the outpost's survivors to fight off the Nihil and protect the innocent.
As the battle rages, Loden and Nan learn that the Nihil are searching for a powerful artifact known as the Tempest Runner. The Tempest Runner is said to be a weapon of immense power, and the Nihil will stop at nothing to get their hands on it.
Loden and Nan must race against time to find the Tempest Runner before the Nihil do. If they fail, the Nihil could use the weapon to destroy the Republic.
Characters
- Loden Greatstorm is a Jedi Knight who is known for his bravery and skill in battle. He is a mentor to Nan and is always looking out for her best interests.
- Nan is Loden's Padawan. She is a young Jedi who is eager to learn and prove herself. She is also a skilled fighter and is always ready to stand up for what she believes in.
- The Nihil are a group of raiders who are known for their ruthlessness and brutality. They are led by a mysterious figure known as the Eye of the Nihil.
Themes
Star Wars: Tempest Runner explores a number of themes, including:
- The power of the Force. The Force is a powerful energy that can be used for good or evil. Loden and Nan must learn to use the Force wisely in Free Download to defeat the Nihil.
